Adriana Erthal Abdenur is an international relations researcher based at Instituto Igarapé, a think tank in Rio de Janeiro that deals with international security and development issues. Abdenur has published articles on several UN-related issues and co-edited, with Thomas G. Weiss, "Emerging Powers and the United Nations." Maiara Folly is a researcher at Instituto Igarapé.
