François Rihouay was a freelance reporter based in Mali from September 2012 to December 2016, working for French and American print, radio and TV outlets such as Reuters, Europe 1, Médi1 and France 24. His reporting focused mainly on counterterrorism operations, peacekeeping and human rights issues. He is from Brittany, France, and now lives in Montreal.
