Gertrude Oforiwa Fefoame is the advocacy adviser for social inclusion at Sightsavers, an international nongovernmental organization. She was elected to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities committee on June 12, 2018, nominated for the position by her government, Ghana, where she is based.
