Gustavo Macedo is a researcher at Columbia University's Global Policy Initiative project, "Atrocity Prevention & Responsibility to Protect," and a visiting scholar at the Saltzman Institute of War and Peace Studies at Columbia. He is a Ph.D. candidate in political science at the University of São Paulo and has an M.A. from the same institution and a B.A. in social sciences from the State University of Campinas.
